How to add new product developer users

By default when you first unpack OpenQuote you have one user already setup for product development: davy. This is fine for some initial playing but, sooner or later you will want to add some new users with the ability to modify and develope products. Once you have specific users setup, you can more effectivly use some of the features which CMS (Alfresco) provides. You can, for example, restrict access to products or areas of the product tree for specific users. If you have versioning enabled on content, you can track who made changes.

Setting up a new user is a two stage process. You firstly have to add a portal user, then create a matching CMS user. The video below take you through the process.
