How to enable version control for product content

Products are defined in OpenQuote entirely by content in CMS (Alfresco). Alfresco has many features which are useful in product development, version control being near to the top of the list. However, out-of-the-box version control is turned off.

This presentation shows you how to turn versioning on for a piece of product content. Obviously, doing this for each individual piece of content would be an arduous task(!), fortunately, Alfresco allows you to define "rules" for a product space which can be used to automatically turn versioning on for any piece of content which is added.
